The runway will be closed and off limits today and tomorrow (Wednesday and Thursday)
Please do not fly.
The field will be open on Friday, but it is suggested you not use the runway. There is now a 3″ rut all around the edge of the runway.
Saturday, we repair the ditch we made and groom the shoulders to perfection. We’ll start at 8 AM. If you want your runway back, we need to get this work done! Rain day, if needed is Sunday, so stay posted, and please help me pass the word! Bring your shovel, a rake, a hoe, and a wheelbarrow if you can. We will have tractors there to move the dirt. This is light work – there’s just 700 feet of shoulder to repair.
