Welcome! At CCRCS we share a love of model aviation and reflect that passion in building and flying model airplanes and helicopters. Become a member!
Our club membership includes a wide range of ages, abilities and interests. All share a love of model aviation and reflect that passion in building and flying model airplanes and helicopters. Building model airplanes can range from constructing large scale models, warbirds from the World Wars or civilian scale replicas! We utilize varying materials like lightweight balsa wood, to inexpensive plastic or foam materials.
Advances in electric flight offer safe, quiet flight with incredible power. Still, many of our members still prefer nitro fuel engines, just like the old days!
Members fly scale models in the .40, .60, and quarter-scale sizes. Helicopters too!
All aspects of the hobby can be challenging and creative. If you have an interest in aviation or are just plain curious about the hobby of building and the sport of flying model airplanes please don’t hesitate to call 360-852-3710 for information.
